Creating a Beautiful Sliding Wooden Pickets Gate with Aluminium Frame
Our team recently completed a project involving the installation of a sliding wooden pickets gate with an aluminium frame.
Design Sliding Wooden Pickets Gate with Aluminium Frame and Frame Installation:
After finalizing the gate design, Sergei from Fancy Gates welded the aluminium frame. The frame and flange post were installed and checked for alignment before powder coating. Galvanising the steel post with flange was done before powder coating.
Installation Process:
Stainless steel track and screws were used for the installation. All wiring was carefully run under the track. The frame, posts, and brackets were then assembled and installed on-site. Gate pickets, pre-cut and painted, were attached to the frame using stainless steel screws.
Finishing Touches:
Finally screw holes were patched and painted to ensure a seamless finish. The closing post was installed to complete the gate structure. In addition a rack with lugs was used to attach the gate to the frame.
Operation and Performance:
The Roger Medio sliding gate motor effortlessly pushes the 6-meter gate up a slope. So the gate operates quietly and smoothly, thanks to the motor’s efficiency.
Conclusion:
The project to create a sliding wooden pickets gate with an aluminium frame was a success, showcasing our team’s attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
